To meet Keaton Barger’s eye, you may need to look up. The 6’2″ Arkansas native is quite literally a cowboy that stands out as a competitor. Born into the ranch life, Keaton and his twin sister spent their childhood on their family’s Black Angus cattle farm, which also bred American Quarter Horses. Earning the nickname “Hook” for his exceptional roping skills, he’s competed in the National Rodeo Association and the United States Team Roping Association. While he’s no stranger to competition, Keaton’s parents pushed him to go for the Ultimate Cowboy Showdown belt buckle. Keaton has a full-time gig in heating and air conditioning but keeps his cowboy roots alive, lending a hand on his brother-in-law’s farm.
