Cody Brewer
Age: 32
Occupation: Cowboy & Former Bull Rider
Hometown: Rickman, Tennessee
Competed: Season 1
Cody Brewer came into his first appearance on Ultimate Cowboy Showdown, a fierce competitor, determined to show the other contestants he was more than a rodeo cowboy.
A championship bull rider for Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA), Cody competed all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In 2018, he was the winner of the 49th International Finals Rodeo and the New York PBR. He was a tough rider—with a strong aversion to losing.
Cody didn’t start out riding bulls. He grew up on a horse farm and started working on local cattle farms as soon as he was old enough. During Season 1, Cody managed 700 head of cattle at Tennessee Tech University. A couple of years after the show, Cody retired from professional bull riding. Today he focuses on training horses, running cattle, and operating his new rodeo production company, Coastal Cowboy. No longer on the road competing, he has more time to concentrate on overall cowboying. He’s honed his skills and is confident he’s a much better hand than he was in Season 1.
As a single man, Cody’s pride and joy are his young nephews. They’re dedicated Ultimate Cowboy Showdown fans, and often rewatch episodes to see their favorite uncle in action! Cody realizes he’s an important role model in their lives, and he wants nothing more than another chance to make his nephews proud.
