In this hilarious episode of The Lucy Show, Mr. Mooney, Lucy’s boss, sends her to the movie studio to deliver papers concerning the financing of John Wayne’s new film, with strict instructions not to bother Mr. Wayne. She is to leave the documents with a studio secretary. But does she listen? Of course not! She insists on hand delivering the papers to Mr. Wayne. What follows is an uproarious romp of hysterical mishaps as only Lucy can instigate!

It starts when Lucy and her best friend Mary Jane find themselves sitting in the studio lunchroom with John Wayne. When Mary Jane has to leave, a very nervous Lucy is left alone with Wayne. Excited to be in a big star’s presence, she proceeds to talk non-stop. At the peak of her enthusiastic patter, she manages to pour ketchup all over The Duke! Now, most would apologize and bow out as gracefully as one could given the circumstances. But not Lucy! She convinces Mary Jane to get her on the set of Wayne’s movie, where she wreaks havoc!
