Celebrate the iconic role the stagecoach played in taming the American Frontier

Follow

A marvel of engineering, the iconic stagecoach becomes indispensable when Americans settle the West, transporting passengers, goods, and gold throughout the far reaches of the frontier. Along the way, stagecoaches and their courageous drivers face a multitude of dangers, from perilous roads, hostile Native Americans, and infamous bandits known as road agents, who see them as easy targets for robbery. With the help of armed guards, often called shotgun messengers, many drivers become legends as they refuse to back down from such threats and stand up against the lawless road agents that plague the remote paths.
