A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain The beloved Waltons characters return in this heartwarming movie about love and loyalty. Erin Walton and Paul Matthews Northridge have professed their love and are ready to commit their lives to each other. They intend to marry on Valentine’s Day which is coming up very soon. Their plans seem to be on track, until an unexpected guest arrives on Walton’s Mountain, causing Erin to come face-to-face with a lost love from her past. The last Erin heard about her ex-boyfriend, Ashley Longworth, Jr. was that he’d gone to war, but he didn’t return to her. Instead, he married another woman. Now, a widower, he’s come to win Erin back. The fact that her wedding to Paul is imminent does nothing to persuade him otherwise. Ashley will do anything to get Erin to marry him, even if it means ruining Paul’s reputation and livelihood, thus destroying Paul in Erin’s eyes and driving an irreparable wedge between the two of them. But Paul is not one to back down, and the fight for true love begins. Meanwhile, other couples on Walton’s Mountain are going through their own ups and downs. Cindy and Ben anxiously await their second child. Mary Ellen’s beau, Jonesy, opens a veterinary practice, but must prove himself to the skeptical townspeople. Elizabeth is lonely with Drew away at college, and Jim Bob is feeling left out because he’s single. And, ever the busybody, Corabeth sees her matchmaking scheme involving Reverend Tom Marshall, backfire in a most delightful way. In the midst of it all, the big Valentine’s Day wedding draws closer, and Erin must decide which love is lasting and real, and which is merely a fleeting romance. You may also like...
