The Command (1954)
A refined Army doctor must learn to kill instead of heal. When Natives kill the leader cavalry unit, the doctor is obligated to take command and lead his men as they guard a wagon train on a desperate journey through Indian territory.

- This film was the first wide-screen Western of the 1950s and was filmed in 3D and CinemaScope, but only the wide-screen version was released.
- The story was loosely based on the career of Dr. Leonard Wood who participated in the last campaign against Geronimo in 1886. Wood formed the Rough Riders with Theodore Roosevelt.
