The Inspiration Networks Names John Russo Director of Sales for Halogen

Indian Land, SC - Marc Favaro, EVP of Worldwide Sales for The Inspiration Networks, today announced that John Russo has joined the organization as Director of Sales for its new television network, Halogen. In this capacity, Russo will be responsible for all national advertising sales across the entire Halogen platform which includes linear TV, online, video-on-demand, social networking, partnerships, and mobile.

"John brings to this role a proven background in ad sales and solid relationships throughout the advertising industry," said Favaro. "He will be vital to our efforts as we continue to solidify our advertising base for Halogen. His wide-ranging background in television and media is a real asset as Halogen blazes new trails in targeting the important 18-34 demographic with empowering content."

Russo joins The Inspiration Networks from the ABC and Fox Affiliates in Springfield, MA where he served as a Sales Manager. In this role, Russo managed national and local ad sales accountability including annual bottom line revenue of more than 10 million dollars.

Prior to joining ABC and Fox Affiliates, Russo served as the President and Founder of National Television Sales, a television sales rep company with clients that included New England Sports Network and PGA Tour Productions' network programming, among others.

During his career, Russo also has held sales positions with organizations throughout the Eastern region of the United States, including WTXX-TV in Hartford, CT; NCC in Bloomfield, NJ; and LIN Television in New Haven, CT.

Russo holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University in Boston, MA. He resides in Chappaqua, NY.
