Jay Haizlip, Christian Hosoi and Brian Sumner To Host Free Screening of TV Show "The Uprising"

Screening for the series' second season will be held on Sunday, August 30th at The Sanctuary Church.

Indian Land, SC - Jay Haizlip, Christian Hosoi, and Brian Sumner, stars of the popular reality TV show "The Uprising," today announced that they will host a free screening for the series' second season on Sunday, August 30th at The Sanctuary Church, 8642 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683. Doors open at 5:30pm. Seating is limited. First come, first served.

The screening also will feature a live performance by Brian "Head" Welch, formerly of the music group Korn.

Produced by youth/young adult content provider, Steelroots, "The Uprising" follows pro skateboarders Haizlip, Hosoi, and Sumner as they comb skate parks, backyard pools, and other hangouts in an effort to spread the Gospel message. The series was launched out of Haizlip's The Sanctuary Church in Westminster, California where he serves as Senior Pastor and his "The Uprising is Here" events, which brings pro skateboarders, live music, and the faith message to young people across the country. The events feature Hosoi and Sumner, as well as other pro skateboarders.

Most recently, Hosoi continued to make waves on the skateboarding scene by winning Gold in X Games 15's "Skateboard Park Legends" competition.

"The Uprising" airs on INSP - The Inspiration Network and online 24/7 at www.steelroots.com. Season two of "The Uprising" will debut on Saturday, October 17th. The new season was filmed throughout California, including Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Los Angeles, among other cities.
