Inspiration wins one Gold and three Bronze awards
Indian Land, SC, USA - Inspiration (Sky channel 567, Freesat channel 690 and Multichoice channel 3??) received four programming awards from the Christian Broadcasting Council as announced today byBill Airy, Chief Operating Officer of The Inspiration Networks. Awards were presented at the "Generation Speaks to Generation" media conference on Friday, 21 November, 2008 in Salford Quays, the heart of the BBC's new Media City in Manchester, UK.
Airy noted that the New Media award was a great honour. "It is crucial that Christian media is delivered via every available platform. The broadband portal, Inspiration.net, and our recent IPTV launch on Freesat in the UK and FreeTV in France proves our commitment to reach people who may not be able to watch satellite or cable television."
"We are also pleased," said Airy, "that programmes, created for Inspiration's teen block, Steelroots, is impacting today's youth culture with relevant, professional-quality content." Steelroots can be seen weekday afternoons and on Saturdays.
