"Reel Inspiration" features the best in family-friendly movies starring some of the biggest names in music and television.

Indian Land, SC - A new original movie series, "Reel Inspiration," debuted this month on INSP - The Inspiration Network. The announcement was made by Doug Butts, SVP of Programming for INSP's parent company, The Inspiration Networks.

Airing Saturdays at 9pm EST, "Reel Inspiration" showcases the best in family-friendly movies starring some of the biggest names in music and television. Among the films featured during the series will include the following films from Pure Flix Entertainment, one of the largest Christian studios in the country: "The Wager," starring country music legend Randy Travis; "Hidden Secrets," starring Broadway veteran and TV star John Schneider; and "Sarah's Choice," featuring multi-award-winning Contemporary Christian artist Rebecca St. James.

Butts said that the film series supports INSP's new focus on content that celebrates faith, family, and freedom.

"'Reel Inspiration' reintroduces the once-cherished 'movie night' to families across the country," said Butts. "The projects selected for 'Reel Inspiration' are life-affirming, uplifting, and thought-provoking stories that go straight to the heart. What's most exciting is that these movies also are entertaining, with great characters and plots that will resonate with our viewers."

INSP is available in more than 60 million homes across the US on more than 2,800 cable systems and on DIRECTV channel 364 and DISH Network channel 259. Viewers can check their local program guides for channel line up information.
