Meetings held nightly, 5-8 March, at the Brima Attouga Kamara Mini Sport Complex

Charlotte, NC - Ben Cerullo, founder of Ben Cerullo Ministries, today announced that he will hold a Miracle and Healing Crusade in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Meetings will take place Wednesday through Sunday nights, 5-8 March, 2009, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Brima Attouga Kamara Mini Sport Complex.

Cerullo comes to Freetown by request. Bishop Augustine Kamara, National Director of the Church of Pentecost, and Bishop Julius Laggah, pastor of Bethel Cathedral of Praise, lead a prominent group of Christian pastors in Sierra Leone who extended the invitation.

"After receiving the invitation from Bishops Kamara and Laggah, I have felt a growing burden for Freetown's people. Years of civil war have resulted in devastating poverty, unemployment, and suffering. I believe that God wants to bring hope and a new wave of freedom to those who live in this region."

Cerullo recalled that Freetown is known for noisy, colourful street markets and rousing nightlife. But it also is steeped in spiritual history. Today Sierra Leone seems to be forgotten by most people in the world. But God has not forgotten them. This country desperately needs a supernatural visitation of the Lord. We earnestly are seeking Him through prayer and fasting for a divine outpouring of His power and love."

This crusade is the latest in a series undertaken since the launch of Ben Cerullo Ministries in 2007. In 2008 alone, 45 campaigns were held in eight countries, ministering to more than 67,000 people. "God seems to be calling me to people who often are forgotten and overlooked," said Cerullo. "These are wonderful opportunities to share His love and change the lives of people who often feel abandoned and hopeless." In addition, he recently launched Thunder Road, the new reality television series that takes viewers behind the scenes and on the front lines of ministry in some of the most dangerous and poverty-stricken areas of the world.
